SCENIC WALKS ON THE EDGE OF MALTA AT DINGLI CLIFFS

Situated on the southwest coast of Malta, Dingli Cliffs are the highest land mass on the Maltese Islands, some 250 meters above sea level. The cliffs stretch form Bahrija to the area above Blue Grotto, overlooking open sea and the tiny uninhabited island of Filfla. The geological layers of Malta’s sedimentary rock are clearly visible in the exposed edges of the cliffs. The impressive height of the cliffs served as a natural defence from pirate attacks and other invasions on the islands southern coastline.
