The remarkable exhibit includes suits of armour used by the Knights of the Order of St John between 1530 to 1798, as well as various artillery and firearms.
Casa Rocca Piccola is a 16th century palace in the heart of Malta’s capital city. Built in 1580, during the era of the Knights of St John, it is the only privately owned palace open to the public in Valletta. Today, Casa Rocca Piccola is home to the noble Maltese family of the 9th Marquis de Piro, who himself often conducts guided tours of the palace. The beautifully preserved palazzo is described as a ‘living museum’, with its extensive art collection and many fascinating features making it a unique attraction.
